Sustainable Impact

This program is breaking the cycle of poverty in rural Benin. Since our founding in 1998:

• 6,000+ at-risk students have stayed in school.

• Dozens have earned university degrees.

• Scholars have launched careers in a wide range of fields including medicine, IT, journalism, agriculture, and more. Several have started businesses.

• Multiple scholars have worked and/or volunteered for BEF.

BEF scholars are now supporting their families and improving their communities.
